IRS Tax-Exempt Status

Effective Date: July 24, 2024. Confirming our status as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) public charity. All contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Note: No Form 990 has been filed yet for the 2025/2026 fiscal periods. Financial reporting will be published transparently in accordance with federal deadlines.

Bryan Ohno

Bringing over three decades of international art world experience—including curating in Tokyo and Seattle, directing fine art galleries, founding director for MadArt, and served on the Kent Arts Commission and 4Culture’s Art Advisory Committee & serving as a board member.

Tracy Nieto

Director

Tracy Nieto served for 30 years as a public school educator in the Tacoma School District, where he was instrumental in supporting fellow educators and advocating for better access to public education for low-income and marginalized communities.

Beyond his work in the school district, Tracy is an active Boy Scout leader, dedicated to the development of youth in both Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts. He has also been a valued advisor for Soos Creek Studio since 2020, specifically contributing to our youth outreach education programming.

Scott Ranney

Director

Scott Ranney has been an elementary school teacher with 17 years of experience in the Shelton School District. A native Alaskan, Scott brings over 40 years of commercial salmon fishing expertise from Cordova, Alaska, and also serves as a tour coordinator for the Orca Adventure Lodge in Cordova.

Scott and his wife reside in Shelton, where they operate a 200-acre sustainable tree farm. Since 2022, Scott has been an advisor for the Soos Creek Studio youth education program, offering valuable insights into active, hand-eye coordination-focused programs.
