Clay-Go: Make first. Discover as you go.
A traditional pottery studio needs specialized tools, equipment, and space. Clay-Go makes the creative part mobile. We bring the clay and the equipment needed for your group to make pottery at your location, then transport the pieces back to our Kent studio for drying, bisque and glaze firing.
That means you can take part in a hands-on pottery experience without traveling to a studio or having one nearby. Your piece doesn’t end as a temporary craft, either: after the firing process, it becomes functional pottery made for everyday use.
We’ve spent years refining the materials, equipment, packing, and transport that make this process work. The result is a pottery experience that combines the immediacy of making together on site with the finishing capabilities of a fully equipped studio.
Schools & youth programs
Clay-Go for Schools & Youth
Hands-on clay sessions invite students to explore, make, and learn through the process. Programs can connect with classroom themes and adapt to your group’s needs. We offer fully or partially grant-supported programming where available; funding gaps need not be a barrier to starting a conversation.
